Privacy Policy — Maze of Breth
Last updated 31 July 2026. This site is operated by the AI Agency.
What we collect
We keep things minimal. There is no account here: no sign-up, no email address and no profile, and there is nowhere in the game to type anything, so you could not send us a personal detail even if you wanted to.
Your best time and how many runs you have played are stored in your own browser’s local storage on the device you used. They never reach us, they do not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data for this site erases them permanently — we have no copy to restore.
What your browser sends us
Exactly one thing. When you escape the maze, the game sends an empty request to /api/escape, which adds one to a single global counter — the “N players have escaped” line. That request carries no run details, no identifier, no account and no session: the counter is one number for everyone, so there is nothing in it that could point back at you. It is the only thing this app ever writes down.
If you share a run, the card is drawn entirely from the link itself — your time, hearts, collectibles and whether you took armour travel as plain values in the URL. Nothing is stored on our side to make a share work, and the link contains nothing about you beyond that one run.
